TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1)The inflatable/softplay has an age limit and maximum number of users allowed which is shown on each inflatable. You can also refer to the description of each inflatable/equipment when you originally made the booking. Please ensure no-one over the age limit uses the inflatable/equipment. NO ADULTS ARE PERMITTED TO USE THE EQUIPMENT).

2) 1m should be allowed around the inflatable to allow room for the blower and safety mats (this applies to both indoor and outdoor hires). For an indoor hire, also ensure there is sufficient height clearance (includes clearance of beams/lights) as detailed in the product description at the time of the booking.

3) No food/drinks/gum to be allowed on or near the inflatable/softplay equipment which will avoid choking and damage.

4) All footwear, glasses, jewellery, badges must be removed before using the inflatable/softplay equipment.

5) No face paints, party poppers, streamers, silly string , balloons filled with confetti or ink-based products to be used either on or near the inflatable/softplay equipment.
6) No smoking/cooking near the inflatable/softplay equipment.
7) IMPORTANT. Hanging or sitting on the walls of the inflatable is dangerous and under no circumstances should this be allowed.

8) A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable/softplay equipment at all times. Alcohol and any other substance is forbidden whilst supervising the inflatable/softplay equipment.
9) Ensure the inflatable is not overcrowded and limit the number of users (as advised in the confirmation of the booking). Try to avoid large and small children using the inflatable at the same time.

10) Prevent horseplay. Please ensure children are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress. Somersaults are strictly forbidden as these are very dangerous on this type of equipment..
11) Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as a child can easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is to assist users to get on and off the inflatable.

12) It is essential that no-one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the inflatable and also any child who is feeling unwell.
13) Do not allow anyone to be on the inflatable during inflation/deflation as this is dangerous.
14). In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. Check the fuses and make sure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or something has not blown onto or obstructing the blower.

15) Do not allow children at the back of the inflatable.
16) No pets, toys or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the inflatable/softplay equipment.
17) Please ensure children are clothed appropriately. We recommend socks are worn at all times, particularly on sunny days as the safety step, inflatable slide and the mats can get quite hot. Also ensure nothing can fall out of pockets.
18) Ensure that the area is kept completely clear around the inflatable/softplay equipment.
19) Under no circumstances should the inflatable/softplay equipment (including the safety mats) be re-sited during the whole time of the hire. The blower should remain at least 1m away from the inflatable.
20) The inflatable should not be used if the bouncing area becomes wet. All inflatables are fitted with a rain cover which provides cover from light rain. In heavy rain, the inflatable must not be used. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.
21) In the event of strong winds (includes gusts) the blower should be switched off until winds subside. If a wind anemometer has been left with the hire, regular readings need to be taken. If the wind speed exceeds 24mph then the blower must be switched off and only be switched back on once winds subside.
22) INFLATABLE SLIDE – 3m should be allowed around the slide to allow room for the blower, safety mats and ropes. Children must sit and slide feet first (no jumping/somersaults) and not to hold hands while sliding down. If wind speed exceeds 15mph, the blower must be switched off. Also, the slide must not be used in the event of rain.
23) CARS – Please ensure that no-one over the age limit uses the equipment. The cars are for indoor use only.

24) SOFTPLAY - In addition to conditions 2, 3 and 4 listed above, the softplay shapes must remain on the mats at all times. All softplay balls to be returned to bag(s) ready for collection time.

25) MARQUEE HIRE - the marquee will be set up on level flat grass (not astroturf), suitable for the marquee's framework and pegs. The area should be at least the dimensions of the marquee, plus extra space for the ropes and access. The site must be free from any trees, drain pipes or other obstructions that could interfere with the marquee's set up and cause damage. While marquees are generally durable, extreme weather can be a cause for concern, so the hirer should be aware of potential weather risks and plan accordingly.

26) SUMO SUITS -

  • Please ensure there is 5 feet of space all around the mat. RJK BOUNCY CASTLES will not take responsibility for any accident happening as a result of there not being enough room around the mat.
  • Your safety is paramount, in order for you to get the most fun and enjoyment from our equipment please observes these instructions. If there is anything you do not understand or are unsure of please do not hesitate to ask.
  • Make sure all the protection supplied is being worn, the wrestling mats are not wrestling mats they are Sumo Wrestling Mats, to be used with all of the Sumo Suit equipment and this equipment only. Make sure that the helmet is being worn and is securely fitted onto the user’s head; not too tight so as to choke, but it should not be loose or able to move around freely, it should be secure.
  • Make sure the neck brace is being worn. As above, this should be clearly fitted but not overly tight or loose. The Sumo Suit body is a one size fits all, this must be worn at all times.
  • Spectators should be kept a similar distance away. When wrestlers fall, they can easily fall or roll off the mat.
  • The wrestling event should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
  • If anybody refuses to wear the required safety equipment, then they cannot wrestle. You are fully responsible as the hirer for both the equipment and the participant. If it is not supervised for any amount of time, then it should be shut down and no one allowed using it until it can be supervised again.
  • Ensure there is adequate First Aid equipment available before using the equipment.
  • The Sumo Suits must be returned in an acceptable condition, i.e. clean and unsoiled.
  • No eating, drinking, Smoking, shoes, glasses, jewellery, buckles, key-rings, metal- studded clothing, pets, silly string, toys or other sharp instruments or similar items which could cause injury or damage allowed on the sumo equipment at any time.
  • Remember, these are hired for fun, do not be overly aggressive or enthusiastic, hitting somebody excessively hard or body slamming them is not advised, this won’t improve your experience using them but may hurt somebody quite seriously. The idea of the game is to force your opponent onto the floor or out of the circle, not to beat or crush them as hard as you can.
  • In the event of bad weather Heavy rain, Thunder and lightning, Hailstones the sumo mats can become slippery and extremely dangerous. Please bring all equipment to a dry place or area

DISCLAIMER

Please note that all persons using the equipment do so at their own risk. The person(s) or organisation hiring this equipment will be responsible/liable for any damage/loss or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. It is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure these conditions are fully adhered to at all times. RJK Bouncy Castles cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using the equipment. Should RJK Bouncy Castles arrive at the delivery address/venue and find there to be inadequate space/height clearance (for indoor/outdoor hire), then the customer will still be charged for the hire and no refund will be made.

I have read the above agreement and fully understand and accept the conditions as above. I am aware that whilst in my care I am fully responsible for the equipment hired and will pay for any loss or damage that may occur, this will include the equipment being returned in an unacceptable condition. If it is returned in a dirty or muddy condition, I will be expected to pay an additional cleaning charge.
